With a recent purchase, I was updating my (geeky) knife inventory spreadsheet. I have 23 Spyderco folders, and I've spent roughly $2300 on what is by far my favorite brand.

I don't have ONE favorite Spydie, but here are my top 3 in 3 categories. What are yours?

  • MOST CARRIED: Dragonflys! These always find a way into my pocket.
  • BEST F&F: Sage 2, easy.
  • FAVORITE SPRINT: Caly 3 in SuperBlue.
 
I've owned quite a few spyderco knives over the years and I would have to rank them as followed

Most carried: Waved endura lone wolf dist. edition (has glock armorer's punch in the backspacer)
Most anticipated: Lionspy that I have on the way/ Lil' Lionspy that I am currently drooling over.
Favorite sprint: Lil' Matriarch (Bento box shop special) you just don't see them often.
 
They are hands down my favourite brand out there.

Most Carried: Standard plain edge Caly 3
Best F&F: Standard plain edge Caly 3
Favourite Sprint: Super Blue Caly 3

I really love the Caly 3 :thumbup:
 
Carried most: Gayle Bradley
Best F&F: See Above ;)
Favorite Sprint: My modded Native 5 S110V Carbon

I currently have 14 Spyderco's among my 25 folding knives.

Most carried: Black on black Para 2, with the Manix 2 XL a close 2nd.
Best F&F: Sage 4, along with my other 2 Taichung'ers the GB and Domino.
Favorite Sprint: Blue Nishijin/Damascus Stretch, the smoothest backlock I've ever felt.
 
MOST CARRIED: Southard
BEST F&F: Blue Para 2. Perfectly centered, perfect action, and no visible flaws
FAVORITE SPRINT: Blue Para 2. Its the only sprint I carry. Orange, green and Carbon fiber are still NIB.
 
I'm down to 3 out of the 9 or 10 I've had in my possession, so obviously they are my favorite 3 as of right now. ZDP Delica, camo/satin PM2, camo/DLC Military.

Military has gotten a lot of pocket time in the almost 2 months I've had it. I've never carried a large knife this much, but the ergos are just so spot on and it just cuts so well. I used to think the PM2 was "the" knife, but I've never been compelled to pick up a sprint run. The next Military sprint though will be mine if it's a combo I like, and that'll make 4 for me.

Out of the ones I've owned:
Most carried: Military
Best f/f: Gayle Bradley
Best value: Gayle Bradley (IMO true out of maybe all folders on the market)
Least liked: Manix 2
 
Of 16-18 Spydercos....

  • MOST CARRIED: Techno. Does everything except food prep and doesn't scare the sheeples. Well, most sheeple.
  • BEST F&F: Phoenix. It is so perfect and sexy it hurts!
  • FAVORITE SPRINT: Blue M390 PM2. Because my other sprints may not actually be sprints...

Most miles: C83 Persian, which I carry since August 2006 and still carry 4-5 day every week
Best f/f: too many to mention. I have no issues with any Spydercos in my possession.

Favourite Sprint: Bob Lum Tanto Folder

Favourite Dealer Exclusive: BBS Blue Domino CTS-204P
Most underrated: ffg FRN UKPK
 
Most carried: Gayle Bradley / Serrated Pacific Salt during outdoor activities
Best F&F: Gayle Bradley (like someone else said the best folding knife you can get for the money)
Most practical: Delica 4
Best sprint: unfortunately don't own one... yet

I wish I never got rid of my gayle bradley, will have to pick one up soon.

I have 14 PM2s (all production, sprints, and exclusives) so I'm mostly a PM2 guy but I also carry a pacific salt while skiing and I just got a Southard yesterday. I love the Southard so far, I wish I hadn't waited so long to pick on one of these.

(Also, I can't figure out what "F&F" is :/)

Best fit and finish: Gayle Bradley / Sage 2 / Tuff / Southfork - All my Taiwan Spydercos came flawless
Best sprint: Military M4 Ti/G10
