Top bodybuilder shoting 1000yds

That's pretty cool. I have one of Branch Warrens DVD's. He is a freak in the weight room!
 
I thought this was going to be something muscularly impressive, like a bow shot out to 1000 yards because that would take enormous draw weight.

The linked video made me wonder only what his trigger finger workout routine was.;)
 
Lifting massive amounts of weights is great for TV and body building competitions, but I've got a feeling that he'd have his hands full with a 10K. Being a complete athelete is far far more useful.

Mr. Muscle Bound just proved you'll die tired at about 1k so why bother?:p
 
A guy like Lance Armstrong is much more impressive to me in what he does than muscle bound guys.
 
I'm just saying that having taken a lot of people through a lot of demanding things, and have found the small athlete that has a lot of stamina is typically much better overall than the muscle bound guys. Not putting down the body building profession at all.

Like Stage 2 said, it makes you wonder whether this guy could do a 10K or not.

Im not reacting negatively to what you guys are saying, what you guys are saying is completely true, to maintain that mass he has to stay less active in regards to cardio and not expend as many calories as well as consume a larger amount of calories.
Big is not the answer for all. When im hanging upsidedown from a overhanging rockwall while climbing i am not my normal weight. i cut down to be smaller more compact, you would be hard pressed to find Branch warrens ass on a cliff.lol or doing a 10k
but for moving big things or exserting a lot of force in sort burst's i would not f#ck with branch. where lance i would destroy at force

Im sure he can't run a 10k, but he can bench press 500 lbs for 6 reps. Running a 10k has nothing to do with it all athletes are different, but it doesn't make them better than another. I'm sure Lance Armstrong can't throw a 40 yard pass to a receiver in double coverage. Not sure why people think that bodybuilders are not superior athletes. Try doing their workout routine for a week. I've tried it and it's hard as balls.
