Anyone know of a super slick lubricant which is not really greasy, but will make pocket knives open as easily as possible?

Tuf glide is great.

Simple graphite powder is also amazing if you can get it to apply well.

I've been using a mixture of graphite powder and rubbing alcohol. It penetrates very well, and doesnt attract lint.

Sentry Solutions ( the same people who make the Tuf-Glide previously mentioned) also make a dry lubricant that I've had great luck with. The name of the product is called BP-2000.

I can also recommend Militec as well. BEcause even though it is a wet lubricant it doesn't take very much of it to do the job. I have a one ounce bottle of it I've used for 3 years now and it's only about half empty. It is superb for folders. But for different and more complicated locking systems on folders I prefer the BP-2000 made by Sentry Solutions

I've wondered if you mixed the BP-2000 in with the Tuf- Glide that would make it a turbocharged lube?

I have had good results with Du Pont Teflon Multi-Use Lubricant. I like it because it comes in a bottle, not a spray can, so I can put it only where I want it. It goes in as a very thin liquid, quickly flowing into tight spaces. After a minute or so, it turns into a thin, light grease that does not pick up crud the way liquid oils do. I just apply it, work the action a few times, then wipe off any extra, leaving lube only between internal, moving surfaces, with none on external surfaces to attract grit.
