In my opinion, my favorite folders that I accumulate and EDC are made by the following companies:

1. Spyderco
2. Al Mar
3. Chris Reeves Knives
4. A. G. Russell
5. ? ( I know, I'm lame, I can't even commit on my own post) :D

I find myself carrying folders made by these companies more often then any other companies' folders. Not sure who would round it out for me.

How about you?

1. Spyderco
2. Chris Reeve
3. Benchmade
4. Strider
5. Victorinox

(its a hard list and I'd like to put Microtech, and William Henry on there, but looking at what I own the most of and what i love to use I am going with those but I wish it was a top 10 list lol)

Heck, no rules here. Feel free to stretch it into a top 10 list!

Microtech or William Henry might round out my top five.

Yeah, I'd pretty much agree with Barrabas74, with a slight change. Seems like a good list, although if we're talking by preference, my list would be more like:

1. Strider
2. Spyderco
3. Emerson
4. Chris Reeve
5. Victorinox

*Edited to add that I forgot my EKIs, and was remiss in failing to mention them.

Ya'll have me wondering if I should buy a Spyderco. I'm hearing nothing but good things on this board about them.

Don't try to sell me on the CRKT brand. I've had two (Prowler and M-16) and they weren't worth using for cut-bait.

1. Chris Reeve
2. Benchmade
3. Buck (higher end models only)
4. Victorinox
5. Microtech

My EDC's are the following 1) Kissing Crane Brown Mule Sodbuster 2) Queen Sodbuster & Victorinox Soldier. They are in no special order.

Spyderco
Benchmade
Kershaw
Victorinox
Kabar
CRKT
Ontario

I think these companies really give you alot for your money.
They have great designs that the average working man can afford.

Microtech and CR and other "high end" companies make fantastic products, but they are not really for the average Joe.

In alphabetical order.
1. Benchmade
2. CRK
3. Microtech
4. Spyderco
5. Strider
6. Victorinox

Benchmades seem to get carried the most these days, 610, 630.
Strider AR is next.
Microtech Socom Elite, LCC, Amphibian.
Then there are the Vics that are always there above and beyond the Tac. folders, Rucksack, and an old Champ.

That is what gets carried most folderwise by me now adays.
