I don't know what all the fuss is about this Custom Shop stuff with the 110ers, we 300 guys have had a really good and inexpensive Custom Shop going for a long time. You just have to be a member of special club to get to use the top secret website to order. Examples are below.

Custom 309 of baby elk antler, poor moms, with custom tempered carbon steel secondary with easy opening notch.

Custom 301 with exclusive engraved brass shield on scale

Custom and very hard to do jigged Delrin 309

And the very rare double sided 301 with file work, known as the 'coming or going knife' for those of us that don't know if we are.

Custom cut-down "shiv" model 321, designed for making a small slit in the inside lining of your cowboy boot and sliding it in. Just in case of emergency string cutting needs.

Club applications will be available soon........
300Bucks :thumbup::p;)

They are customs alright, one of a kinds...ha... was just some of my 'junkers' trying to poke fun at all of US, me too, on the custom shop flap. But the humor is drained by the tough situation that was brought up on the business end of things. I still support the ideal of a American owned company making American made knives as much as is possible. I myself am retiring at the end of the year, my choice, going out because I can still walk tall.....have been calling it planned welfare....I am still 300Bucks and will be looking for, a long time I hope, that 'next good deal hole filler'. Good luck and blessings to all who need work. Maybe we all can joke around again in the near future. 300

Yeah 300, its hard to joke right now.

I was poking fun at the camillus/schrade aspect, but you knew that...:o

3 double ought Bucks,
man your a trouble maker for sure. :D I am supposed to know this stuff and you had me going. :o Baby elk? :)
Well I hope it all goes well for you with your "plan".

PR, OK, OK, Here you go, a custom shop, someones shop anyway, first version Cami. 301 which grew up really, really wanting to be a Schrade......;) 300bucks

I guess we will call it a Shami...:p

For the non-300 folks only the first model 301 Schrade had grooves in the bolsters. This is a wannabe.

Apparently not just the Chinese will counterfeit Bucks. Caveat Emptor. I really like the 'shiv'. I have a muskrat that I could do that with.

Every time you guys do this I have to drag out this baggie to compare.

it really is interesting looking at the different configurations.

now where is that dremel tool.....

Woody,,, I only have 7 or 8 300's.... keep em in a ziplok in the bottom drawer. They just came in some lot groups I used to buy and are fun to play with when you 300 series guys get on about them.

So many knives, so many varations.... no money........:o

ok i was sent picts of a "Navy issued pocket knife" owned by a man whos dad was stationed in 'dago
one time it was that buck would replace the blade on a slipy and did so on knives salors owned or got from the ship stores
also there was a G Buck that was brother to Al Buck ...and some of al relatives worked for or with him
so could this be3 what i think it could be ?
or is it jest a smoke congured up by some one..
i have seen once a pict of one slipy that was done by some one at buck back then in the lean to...

Sure, there was seven Buck brothers, IIRC...That one is by Grumpy Buck...The ones by Doc and Happy are pretty good quality, but don't trust the Dopey Buck knives... :D

Dave, I guess I will just go ahead and stick my foot in my mouth. :foot: I have seen something on G Buck somewhere in the past and like a dummy I didn't keep any info. My poor memory says it is not associated with our knives and was associated with back east manuf. and early 1900's. But my memory is starting to be a WAG sometimes. A good condition one was on Ebay last week as BCCL said. I thought about trying for it as a lark, but I decided I would save my money for Idaho. Will try for look-see and get back with you, if this post doesn't drag out some real info from a oracle. 300Bucks
