Just finished this one up yesterday, and she'll be heading out to the new owner today. Based on my Moonshine Choppers, but upgraded to an 'antiqued' (blued and bleached) finish, buffed out, and Carbon Fiber scales with flared tube fasteners! Just under 15 1/4" overall, 9" tip-to-plunge, 1/4" thick 5160, but the flat sabre grind coupled with the CF keeps the weight down. She sure makes you want to chop something up, though
Also, a big thanks to Jeremy Horton for lending me the flaring dies to do this order:thumbup: Much appreciated, Jeremy!!! Anyone who hasn't seen his work, check out his subforum here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=825 He does some killer cool stuff with steel
Anyway, here's the pics!
Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Walter
