More.... I wanna see more!

..which is glowing. A fitting tribute to this one. This is the very first I have seen of it! Impressive, indeed.

I see a nice niche being formed. Smart. :D

Thanks, Chuck. :)

I checked out Dennis' wares in Atlanta, I think I saw this one there. The man does some seriously nice work. Mind boggling actually.............

would a blade that short make it legal in good old Commiefornia?

Yes, with its blade less than 2", this is a Cal-legal balisong.

Coop,

Thanks for your praise. That is very significant coming from a master such as yourself.

Not to hijack, but I saw that rocknroll balisong on your link, and wanted to comment that it is an incredible steal at $725- that means even if he was only paid for his time, and not materials- he would only be making a little over $5 per hour. Crazy!

Now, back to the tiny knife discussion-
:D

"Rat"...Thanks for that observation.

There's a story behind that...here's the short version:

The Rock 'n Roll Typhoon was originally made/intended for a famous pop/rock star (Rhymes with Carol Mall, as in Mall and Coats) ;)

The deal was arranged (so I was assured) through one of the band's key employees. In the meantime I turned down several offers for the knife because it had been "promised" to this rock star. To make a long story short, it turns out that the employee (a neighbor of mine) didn't exactly follow through and the deal went South..after the knife was already finished! I didn't find out until after I had been waiting along with my family, at the backstage door (per arrangements) for nearly 2 hours!!

The knife should sell for more. But I was so bugged over the sour deal, that I decided to just forget the whole thing and asked Chuck to post the lowered price on the knife. We'll chalk the low price off to my bruised pride.

I think it's a pretty darned cool knife...and it deserves a good home.

It is a very cool piece, and whomever snaps that up will be a lucky SOB! Great work! :)
Sorry to hear about the bad deal- If only I had the money! :(
