Tops and Ka-Bar???

I own Ka-bars and love them. Recently I was looking into buying a Tops Alaskan Harpoon, but I read in the forums that they have thick sabre grinds and dont cut well. Are the tops edge grinds like a Ka-Bar's, or are they even more obtuse?

I have a street scalpel and i like it. the steel stock used is quite thick so it doesn't cut like a razor. but it does hold and edge well and is relatively easy to sharpen. overall i like it but i'm sure a Ka Bar would probably have a finer edge. later, ahgar
