TOPs Axe- questions, uses, and special uses

Hi there, just bought my first TOPs product : Outfitters AXE #OX6. this is also my first serious combat type axe.

anyone have one that would like to share their experiances with it?

i know what things i can use it for as an outdoorsman/hunter, but what kind of tricks and uses does the military get out of such a tool?

not sure im a huge fan of the plactic, clamshell sheath. seams like the axe could fall out when running or falling down.
