Tops blade holes/slots

I'm no expert, but my guess would be that, given it's intended audience it's made to be kind of a do everything utility knife. You could thread paracord through them and use the spine of the knife as a leveraging tool; You could use it as an emergency fishing line spool; You can blow bubbles with bubble gum if you lack the skill; etc.

It's Morse code for the letter R, and is entirely aesthetic. The same hole pattern can be found on many of their knives.
