wish someone would make the 5" blade version. im assuming this one is gonna be 3" or 4"

It’s 4” blade. It doesn’t feel like a small knife though. I can’t wait to have another one.

I think Tops released a licensed version of the Al Mar Mini-SERE Operator in about 2017, IIRC it had a 4" blade of 154CM.

Are we talking about: (1) another TOPS release of the Al Mar Mini-SERE Operator; or (2) a TOPS release of the Al Mar SERE Operator, which had a 5" blade?

Or am I missing the point altogether?

1....the mini.....I just like the 5" version is all. im distracting the thread from the mini re-release.....

I found this report of the SHOT Show announcement mentioned by AntDog, and it looks to me like it's (2) a TOPS release of the Al Mar SERE Operator. No dimensions are given, however. The article does mention the earlier (2016) TOPS production of the Al Mar Mini-SERE Operator.
