Hey guys,

I just received this knife last week NIB and discovered a potential problem.

The knife is not centered and the blade is extremely close to the inside liner lock.

Question, will it get worse to where the blade will rub?

The knife is going to be and EDC but I don’t want this to get any worse.

What do you think about the grinds?

Keep it or send it back??

I would send it back with information on what you want done to it. Buck will take care of your concerns.

I agree the edge angle may need to be re profiled.Send her back with a note expressing your concerns.

Does the blade lock up ok?

Lot of liner lockers might be off centered when closed.

Far as the edge grind. You said it is an edc, so that edge will go away as soon as you begin sharpening it your self.

I don't think you have a problem, but if/when it fails, there is always the Buck warranty.

Lock up is tight and secure. My concern was the blade eventually rubbing the liner with age. Ill use it and report back with any problems.
