I just bought this knife as well! I also love my knives to have a big, long fixed blade, and I lean more towards the serrated survival knives type, such as the First Blood and Rambo Missions knives. However, I also have, aside from about 5 handmade Rambo style knives (handmade First Blood knife, Voorhis Rambo Missions style knife, Rambo 4 knife, 2 Rambo 3 style knives. One made with Damascus steel and made in England, and the other one has the rambo 3 style and look, but has single serrations on spine of blade), I also have the Cold Steel Trail master, SOG Super Bowie and Tigershark Elite, Ontario RTAK-2, and now my newest knife, the handmade awesome TOPS Condor Alert knife.
Now, I've just owned the TOPS knife for just a couple of days but I find it to be incredibly awesome. It is heavy, massive, and mine came hair-shaving razor sharp. Plus I have heard nothing but great things about this beautiful, hardcore knife. And besides this, I just LOVE the way that it fits and rests on my side!! I am sure that just like my other high end production and handmade big beefy knives, this one will be awesome as well! And I am sure that you are probably by now already loving your TOPS Condor Alert knife just as I do mine!!
