Tops FDX axe

That's nice and light for a piece of steel that length and thickness. Now I'm curious.
 
My only question is at that length and weight will it be able to really do any axe-ish stuff or would you just be better off using a knife of similar proportions. IMHO I'd either get/use a larger knife or maybe a much less expensive hatchet, there is a nice Weterlings and Fiskar has a good offering as well. Neither cost quite as much.

that does look like an interesting little tool, there has to be someone with one kicking around.

I think it will work good as an ulu type blade...and maybe some small chopping duties (very small)....
