Tops Fieldcraft Folder?

Has anyone bought one? Good, bad, ugly?

I was waiting for them too because I like the fixed blade versions, but the price for a folder with 1095 steel seems a bit steep for me. I would bet that it’s a pretty stout knife though.

It's awesome. Great easily packable. Took pictures with Tablet, not very good. I'll take one with phone.
Same size as fixed blade Bob.

I, too, am curious for people's experience with this folder. I really like the idea of a large folder of a similar design (as a camp knife) and the looks of this one are great. The price is close to the Steel Will Gekko 1500 which has a shorter blade but i would really like to see a video comparing these two. Or if there's anyone that happens to own both, your opinion is welcome.
Definitely a knife i would like to own but for the price, only if found in the secondary market (same goes for the Gekko).

Does anyone know if TOPS differentially heat treats the blade on this folder like they do with their fixed blades?

The folder feels like a tool. It does not feel like a CRK. It's smooth but utilitarian. Love it.
