Tops - High Desert Harpoon ???

I have been thinking of budgeting a " Tops - High Desert Harpoon " and stripping the coating and getting black hardware to blend with the scales. I was trying to find user reviews on it and theres not too many. This knife is either really ergonomic or really clumsy. Im wondering if anyone has used it or knows if it has a place in the field ??

I have the original Hoffman harpoon Tops put out. The steel is well tempered. I never carry it because the sheath is so terrible, & I haven't bothered making another. I like the shape of the desert better. The handle on mine is a good length. Scales should be an improvement. The ergos are better than I expected.

I think I will pull the trigger and get it. The sheath does kinda suck, even as a neck knife. I would love to see if hedgehog leatherworks would do a cool little sheath with a pouch or something, but there really busy over there. I have some time to finish the project befofe I go on my spirit journey I have planned for end of summer. I will check that review out and thanks for the input. This knife is different and thats what I've been looking for.
