For a long time, knife mania and me have satisfied with the knife picture of magazine, of internet network because of exceptional situation of South Korea. that is possession of gun and knife was forbad by Police.
Now 'Possession License of Knife' is need inevitably through complicated formalities in case that knife's blade length is over the six inch. as if Driving License.
I hope that I possess my knives of my free-will only submission a report to the Police

Since 2001, the knife shop came into the society regularly in South Korea.
Because Inherited skill of knife production of Korea was suspended, knife shop nearly deal with imported items, occasionally traditional items.

Recently I have deep impression on the book -"Art and Design in modern custom fixed blade knives" by Dr. David Darom-
As soon as be imported, I have purchase it and stay up all night over a book.

Needless to say famous sensitive custom makers, I have an affection for Randall's typical drop point, Strider's tactical, Cold Steel's tanto series, TOPS robust knives.

TOPS knives as the tough image, relatively impressive design, agreeable to the micarta grip touch and color, blade coating, especially the thickness of stock (1/4inch).

I have collected that knives below, five pieces
Moccasin Ranger
Storm Rider
Fire Strike
DART
Anaconda

I like TOPS knives. That really thick tang is comforting. I would rather have a stainless steel like VG10 instead of 1095, but they're good knives.

I have one of the Anacondas and think its a great knive , easy to sharpen. they do a great job on the 1095. ;)

the little Prairie Fox, but I love it. Stout, quick and nobody seems to pay too much attention to it. Can you carry smaller blades without a license? Many will say the big TOPS blades are too expensive (and they are) but I think their neck knives are a good value.

I looked at the tops knives but I decided to go with Swamp Rat instead. IMO they are better, and cheaper.

Yeah, but Swamp Rat doesn't have the diverse lines that TOPS does, and you can get a good TOPS knife for a quarter of the price of a Swamp Rat if you're not getting one of the monster-sized TOPS. I have a Prairie Fox like SFK does, and it's a great knife. Only cost me $55.

this is true. :) but that is actually a little more than 1/3 the price of a Battle Rat. ($150-ish)

edit: and I was looking for a big knife
