TOPS knives Linen Micarta

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered somewhere in BF before, but does anyone here know where TOPS knives sources their linen Micarta. I've had quite a few knives both custom and production and black linen Micarta is by far my favorite handle material, but the look and feel of the TOPS Micarta is something I haven't been able to find elswhere even though I'm not a huge fan of their knives in general. I have a custom on order and that's the handle material I'm trying to go with. Thanks.
 
I thought they used black canvas micarta? I might be talking outta my butt, but I could almost swear I remembered them saying they got their micarta from Westinghouse. I remember hearing that a looooong time ago.

Why not contact TOPS and see if they'll tell you? They might even sell you a couple blocks of it if you ask nicely!
 
Now that I think about it, Westinghouse sounds about right. I'll drop them a line a see if they'll answer. Thanks.
