tops knives

what are you opinions? good? bad? worth it? i'm really digging the wolf pup. is there a better knife out there just like it for about the same coin?

TOPS are really tough knives but in my experience they don't come from the factory with a very good edge and because of the thickness are really hard to sharpen. Just my experience.

My experience with TOPS is the same, although their customer service is very good.

unlike the other tops knives the wolf pup is thinner stock (I got my brother one) and gets very sharp. It has a very nice feel in the hand for being small and gets the job done like a big knife. I have the baghdad box cutter and while having a thicker blade it still gets the job done but its not as sharp as the wolf pup.

I have had good luck with them. I have 3 and they are pretty thick but well built and well performing knives.

thanks guys! so anything out there like the wolf pup? i know ranger knives has the little bird, but i'm not a fan of the thick coating that it looks like it uses. also i like the looks of the wolf pup better. so any others like it or close??
