Well made. Nice fit and finish. Generally thick blades with low grinds. Causing reduced cutting ability. Expensive for what you get.

I've wanted a new fixed blade for a while now, and I recently did a comparison on the T.O.P.S. Cochise, Becker BK2 (Companion) and the R.A.T. 4. I've liked every T.O.P.S. I've seen, but many of them are too "Rambo-ish" for me.
Well made, tough knives, good steel with a good heat treat, at least on the ones I've seen. For most of their models, you get your money's worth. (IMHO, some T.O.P.S. models are too highly priced & too big to be practically useful.) I think the Raven X would serve you well, depending on your needs, but I wouldn't consider one for myself because I don't get into tanto points.
