Anyone own or used one of these?

Looks like a rock-solid multipurpose (outdoors or SD) knife with an interesting blade design (slight belly, tanto point, straight sharpened top edge).

Any ideas or experiences would be MUCH appreciated!

I have owned and carried the micarta version for years. Fits the hand like a glove. Seems suited for self defense purposes but...as a field knife, in my opinion, it leaves alot to be desired. I don't like the top edge being sharpened because I often want to ride my thumb on top and obviously can't do it. The bade for me is extremely hard to sharpen (more me than the knife). I had it sharpened professionally and found a discreet place for it to ride in my truck. It blends in so well that I always leave my windows down when I park and no one ever even sees it but it's readily available. I bought it at the Atlanta Bladeshow many years ago for 90 bucks and it was well worth it. I know they're a bit more now but it's still a great knife. Unfortunately, the sheath that came with it, spring clip kydex, always seemed like an afterthought.

Thanks for the response and observations! I have to agree about the sheath - from what I've seen it looks a little "cheap". But I think that goes for all TOPS sheaths..(my Wolf Pup has a similar sheath)..

It's so hard to get a sheath made for a knife (for me anyway) that I would rather a company just charge 20-30 dollars more and give me a quality sheath with the knife. I have actually considered on more than one occasion buying the Wortac 5 from TOPS but it looks like the same plastic crap sheath even though the knife looks promising.
