TOPS Magnum question

Hey guys, I acquired a TOPS CQT Magnum folder in a trade and I really like this beast. The problem is that there was some noticeable up/down play and I discovered that one of the 3 screws that hold the lock bar in place was a bit loose. I disassembled the knife and was able to remove the screws that hold the lock bar them and apply a bit of loctite to them. I reassembled it and the play is gone, but how secure is this form of lock? Will it last over time?
