TOPS MSF 4.0 bent blade/liners issue

I just received my second MSF 4.0 with a bent blade—the first one had bent liners as well. These knives were fresh out of the factory packaging with no visible damage to the boxes or micarta scales. I contacted TOPS but had already returned my first one to the vendor before hearing back. I'll be sending them the second one because I think they may have a problem at the factory in Italy. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

TOPS was quick to respond, they just missed me sending it back to the vendor by a few hours. They were willing to make good on the warranty and expressed the appropriate concern on the matter. I give them credit. I'll be calling tomorrow to set up a return and see if they can figure out what's going on. That first one looked like something really heavy had been sitting on it, yet the scales were immaculate.
 
Bummer. I've been looking at one of these myself. I'm not surprised that TOPS was good about it. I haven't had to send anything back to them, but I've asked them lots of questions and they've always been friendly and quick to reply. Hope this gets sorted soon. :thumbsup:
