TOPS Nighthawk

I like the TOPS / Buck Nighthawk. At least the looks of it. It is 420HC so I assume it will have a proper heat treat. I expect that I'd like the plain Buck on better having no holes in it but the holes are fine.

Any comments about the Nighthawk and more specifically the TOPS / Buck collaboration? As far as I can tell, the only thing TOPS contributed was the holes.

I love the Nighthawk series but do prefer them without the Tops influence.

I tried one out on the weekend. Hacked some kindling. Fairly Decent knife.

I like the looks of them, but not the bulky sheath. Are they supposed to be a Fighter or Utility knife?

Buck markets them on their website under their Survival & Tactical category so I guess they could fit either need.
