It's made with some martial art discipline in mind, right? I couldn't comment on it's possible performance in that use, though the the blade shape appears novel without being too radical, and the handle looks generous and very secure. But $180 seems a bit expensive for those materials in a knife of that size... Maybe they have absolute quality control or something at TOPS. Also, I'd think the thickness would set restrictions on utility use, but one would have to handle it and see thick the grind actually is.
