Does anyone know if TOPS has a sharpening service, similar to the Benchmade lifesharp program, or the one Chris Reeves offers, where you can pay a nominal fee, and postage and they'll re - sharpen the knife for you? The reason I ask is that back in late Jan/Early Feb I ordered my third tops knife, Steel Eagle 107 C. My 111A and Ranger Short Stop came shaving sharp right from the box, but this one arrived with a less than satisfactory edge, IMHO. I've made several attempts to improve it with a sharpmaker and an AG Russel sharpener with diamond rods, and it now has a decent working edge, but not one I'm satisfied with. In terms of size, weight, and the performance of its sawback it's an ideal knife for me, so if I can get it sharpened I would be extremely happy with it. Thanks for the info.

D'oh, nevermind I just read the fine print on the Tops website and found out that they do have a sharpening service. Kindly disregard this post.

I do recall them offering sharpening I think for nominal fee. It sounds as though the edge angle is to steep. I was a dealer for Tops awhile ago and noticed several of the models had to steep of an edge angle making them difficult to sharpen. Good luck with getting them to respond. IMO, they have poor customer service.
