TOPS Smoke Jumper - why so little attention

TOPS makes a large knife called the Smoke Jumper. Looks like nice USA made knife in the 6" blade category but there seems to be few reviews or articles about it. Any opinions as to why?

Double edge knives are illegal to carry in lots of places so tend to be unpopular. Also TOPS gets some flack for having thick blades and being on the excessively-tactical side. Nothing wrong with the company in general, however.

It's a quarter inch thick knife with a stubby grind less than half the blade height. That puts it in the blunt object category.
