TOPS Stryker Defender Tool or TOPS Punisher

I like them both. I want to know if anyone owns these knives? I know the punisher is from the movie but it looks bad ass and a decent camping knife.
 
I like the Striker tool. It has been on my buy list for a while. I use the TOPS TB Tracker and it works great. The Punisher knife looks sexy and functional. Check out www.relentlessknives.com/ They make the original custom knife from the movie.
 
I recently ordered the stryker from tops, and am anxious to receive it. I ordered it for my brother who serves in a stryker brigade, but I have the feeling I may have to order another one, since I'll prob want to keep it.:D

I like the tops quality, as I have one of their neck knives, the ferret. The tracker is still on my wish list.
 
Get the stryker defender tool. You will be much happier long term. Anything built for hard military use is good and you can even cut yourself out of a chopper if need be Lol... It is also a good size. One note. It may now be availabe with Kydex sheath so you may want to call them and get a part number.
 
Out of the two I'd definately get the Stryker but for that kind of money I'd be looking on the makers forum for a custom. For around $150 you can get a lot more for your money going custom. If you want to stick with production knives check out bark river, fallkniven, and ESEE. ESEE knives have similar "military" style looks but are sometimes cheaper and have the best warranty in the business. They have a huge following around here.
 
Check around on prices on the net TOPS knives are all over the map. I am going to order a TOPS Hellion soon, yes despite the seemingly majority opinion I am going to try it out. TOPS gets some crap over their sometimes gimmicky marketing but they use good materials and all I have handled seem well worth the money. I would go with the Stryker.
 
FYI. Got my Stryker recently and love it! It is just one hell of a knife. Also came with a Lansky quick Sharp for the field. This thing is great.
 
I'm only 27 but a huge knife collector.. I own many high end Kershaw, Spyderco, SOG, well just recently purchased my first TOPS, the Felony Stop. I'm in love, it came with a kydex sheath, which I feel is the only downfall for the Stryker Defender tool, I'd love to own it, however I carry daily not just for camping etc. The Stryker is an amazing survival knife if that's why you'll be using it for of you don't mind the ballistic nylon sheath..
 
Tops makes a good product, although pricey if you pay retail. I have an Alaskan Harpoon. I just had it out fri & was even prying with it. Trying to get some fatwood from a stump. At one point i had a foot on the tree for more leverage & 2 hands on the knife. It is 1/4" thick. For some reason, many hate Tops. I love em. Certainly not all styles are for me or anyone. But the choices are so vast that anyone can find at least one they like. Then, shop around on the web. I saved $70 of their list price. Keep us posted & post up pics when you get one.

Looking badass certainly is important while camping.

I think the choice all depends on if you are doing more "defending" or more "punishing" while camping. :D
