Does anyone here have any real world experience with the Tom Brown Tracker? This such a unique and famous design I feel compelled to own one. The catch is I want one to use and abuse. Is this knife all it's cracked up to be, or just a glorified paper weight? It comes with an intruction manual which makes me think this tool may be very handy in the back country when paired with a good folder. So I guess I am asking for is some owners to tell me what it is capable of. Can it handle tough camp chores and do delicate work is it that versitile?

Raining hit it right on, there have been a couple reviews in Wilderness & Survival Skills. One right now that is not very complimentary, and one a while back on a convexed version that was a little more kind.

i dunno i think it may have its place, im gonna buy one eventually and take it camping to play around with it. its serious and well constructed tool its certainly no beushcrafter but i dont see why one couldnt use it as a survival knivfe.
