I think the long and short of it is, it specializes in being unspecialized. Chops decently, cuts decently, saws decently, etc. decently. Good choice for the outdoorsman who needs to carry as little as possible. Bad choice for the outdoorsman who's truck is fifteen feet away and could have several tools at his disposal. Great choice if you're a knife enthusiast, can afford it, and it floats your boat!

I have one with a leather sheath coming, and I'll post a review when I get it. I'm probably gonna sand the finish off, and have someone hollow grind the drawknife portion. I might blue it, but I'm still debating this.

It's a review that I did after a 4 day hike.
I love it but that's just my oponion.

Excellent knife in my opinion, it doesnt excell at any one task but it can do just about anything, very good chopper and if you get one with staggered saw teeth its a bit more self cleaning than previous ones.
