Great Job TOPS - delete a picture of one of yours. Guess you don't want free advertising.

Looks ALOT like a fixed version of the griptilian that I have in my pocket. I kinda like it. I don't know if i would pay $85 for it. Maybe I would. I'm generally turned off by TOPS, as their prices seem to be out of line with materials used. Looks like it could be the right size for discrete EDC.

damn it tops idiots

Before you guys keep making stupid, ignorant comments about TOPS, they have been dealing with many Chinese ripoffs, and the ripoff artists use TOPS actual pictures to sell knockoffs.

Sometimes, you do what is necessary to protect your interests.

Now, who are the real idiots?

well, didnt know about that, but the ripp off 'artists' could have used modified files instead of direct links i guess,
and if tops would check the site where their image link is listed, they wouldnt delete it ...i think...i mean, why take off an image from bladeforums ?
is not like its a chinese site that sells knives
and i specified tops name and model, + direct link to the image
you dont have to get mad :D

Well, that was a little harsh but a good point anyway. I don't think preventing hotlinking of images is really going to really slow them down but whatever.

If you like it buy it, TOPS makes a good knife with a real good heat treat.

Jack, now that I've calmed down, it's an excellent knife for small tasks such as whittling trap parts, drilling holes for fireboard, etc. It has many uses as an EDC. Let us know how you like it.

well, the dealer informed me today that the UTE is unavailable
i ordered instead a CAT, still wanting to check the tops blades feel and quality
if this one to will be unavailable, im going to wait for an izula from rat cutlery

Another TOPS knife with a puny hollow grind half the width of the blade.:barf:
Now, if it had a full flat or convex grind I would like it.
