I've been looking for a knife with small, sub 3inch blade and came across the wolf pup from TOPS. I was immediately attracted by it and thought i had to have it. However when i did a search for reviews, there were only a few and nothing that really told me about it.

Well i was wondering how these little knives are and also if anyone knows any other knives similar to it with a 50 dollar price range?

but I carried the Prairie Fox for a long time. Stout little blade, micarta gives a good two finger grip, kydex is good. I think the bigger blades from TOPS are a bit pricey for what you get but I think their little blades are a good value. Unique designs, handy and not in any way toy-like. They're workers.

I have a TOPS Wolf Pup, and I really like the little thing. But, if you want an awesome little fixed blade, may I suggest Tom Krein. If you don't want to get one of his knives, may I suggest Ranger knives, as well as John Greco.

I'm trying to keep the price around 50$. I like the ranger but it's a little too small. I'd like the blade around the 2 1/2 inch mark.

Then DO get the Wolf Pup. I DO really like mine!! You could always ask Justin to make you something. He might be able to do it in your price range. It is just a thought.
