Hey guys a while back someone posted a picture of a torch made from pine or fatwood. I did a search and found some threads but the pics where no longer available. Does anybody have pics of an example of these? I believe pitdog is the one who had the picture of it. I want to make some of these with my boys the next time we are out camping. Thanks in advance.

Cut two slits with the grain in an X down from the end of a bit of green stick and push the fatwood into the slots, alternating as you build it up. Simple as that.

Here ya go....

I did take some' how to' pics but can't find them anymore ! Just do as Baldtaco says, they are great for getting the kids to make....be sure to take some pics for us !
