Hey all, just finished this one. I drew up this design last week, let me know what you guys think. Overall length is 7 3/4", blade is 3 1/8", and is 4 5/8" closed. 6AL4V Ti on the frame and liner, custom Ti clip, copper name plate, all screws blasted, Ti lock overtravel bar, blasted orange G-10 scale, blasted 154-CM blade, weight is 5.15 oz and blade thickness is .200". Hope you guys like it! Now back to the shop for the next design :D

Very, very cool, Serge! I really like it a lot. Especially the blade design! One question, why the bar behind the lock on the outside of the frame? Does it serve a functional purpose, or is it just part of teh aesthetics?

Looks very well executed Serge - nice work. You're becoming quite versatile in your knifemaking - makes me very curious to see what you'll do next!

Way cool! I want it! Too bad I already have two customs on order, I'm just tapped out...

Ted, it is an overtravel stop for the lock bar. So you don't bend it too far out that it won't bend in on its own.

I like EVERYTHING about it BUT the orange. Replace that with carbon or "lightning strike" and it would be WAY cool!

Thanks Xander - that's what I thought, I just didn't know that it would be a realistic issue - none of the framelock folders that I own have one on them, and they have never failed... Or even looked like they wanted to start failing.
