Torsion Assist Knives Confiscated?

Yeah, that guy looks like he's full of ****. Notice how he doesn't mention a brand name or type of knife...because it's a Chinese POS. It should say KERSHAW on the blade under those 3 holes, at least if it were a real Whirlwind...

I hate it when auction sellers put of fuzzy pictures. It's just disrespectful to the buyers. If the picture comes out poorly, retake it.

The guy probably blurred the picture deliberately so that you can't see how bad the knife is.

IF customs were to decide to stop these, they'd probably be just as effective as they are on Charming China Cheapie balisongs that flood the auctions and fleamarkets.

I kind of suspect that after the thrashing they got on the CRKT thing last year, Customs is probably being very permissive when it comes to smaller folding pocket knives.

*Would like to take time to note that all Kershaw Speedsafes with the exception of the upcoming Whisper are American Made, kinda hard for U.S. Customs to disallow.*

Also, the serrations on this picture are not those of the Kershaw Whirlwind, though I must say that whoever made that POS spent alot of time making it look like a Whirlwind in almost all details.

Is it just me, or does it look like 'Fury' is stamped on the blade at the handle juncture? Didn't know they made Kershaw knockoffs.

The guy selling that crap is named 'Stu" F. he is a character, kind of a walking flea market of clone crap. He always posts his auction POS with something stupid or silly as a sales ploy to get someone to buy his $3.00-$5.00 knives.
He should NOT be allowed to get anymore. What he SHOULD be made to do is BUY KERSHAW and KEN ONION'S Speed assist products and pay the cost of selling Real stuff and not made in baphuckistan clones....:(

Our store got a letter the other day from Blue Ridge Knives, one of our distributors, stating that they would no longer ship any of the Kershaw Speed Safe Openers or anything like them to Michigan dealers due to the stupidity of one lone prosecutor in the Lower Peninsula. Shame, shame, shame. Brian

I really do hate seeing cheap knockoffs like that being sold using misleading advertising. Pretty low in my books.

Another better question is why did the idiot choose to show brass knuckles with the knife? Thats real smart. I won't mention the switch since it appears to be key chain size. Talk about being stupid heres someone with no common sense or business sense at all.
Bob

I think Customs is confiscating these knives because they infringe on Kershaws patents and not because they are considered switchblades.
