does torsion assisted blades fall under the not legal category of pc12020 ?

cause i'd like to carry a torsion assisted knife without the fear of deputy law enforcer nabbin me for illigal carry ..

pc 12020 does not list assisted knives as prohibited. 653k pc only lists switchblades. per the letter of the law it seems you would be ok.

I have worked about 10 cases in the past six months dealing with Assisted Openers. Every case has ended with either a dismissal or a not guilty finding.

Assisted opening knives are legal in CA.

Assited opening knives are not switchblades.
