So right now i have 2 kershaw leeks, a kershaw cryo and something i think is called the kershaw compound (model #1940), all with broken torsion bars. I don't really want to send them in, can i just get replacement torsion bars sent to me? I feel like with such inexpensive knives it really isn't worth it to pay for postage to get them fixed.

They shipped me a torsion bar free of charge when I inquired on their website. I would imagine that would hold true for you as well.

yup. Kershaws pretty good with torsion bars. Just go to their website, they have a little form to fill out, and they usually send you new screws and pocket clip as well. No postage, even to Canada.

I personally call them for such things. This way it's instant and they can usually tell you if they have them in stock. I know for a fact they don't carry any chinese produced parts and you would have to send them in if you owned one. As stated they are awesome with sending you what you need minus the blade or handle!

Are you a serial flipper!?;)

I remember Steve saying they actually ordered some torsion bars for the Cryo specifically, they may have some... as Mr. JuJu said, best to call.

As was said above, you should be able to get bars for the Leeks and the Cryo (assuming they have the Cryo bars in stock), but the Compound would need to be sent in. I've inquired about parts for overseas knives and been told they don't stock them (unfortuante, but understandable to some degree). I've heard that they are stocking Cryo parts which is good considering the model's potentially huge popularity.
