I need to tighten the pivot screw on my Sifu just a smidgen and all of the torx bits that I have are too big. Does anyone know what size I need? Where can I get one? Sears and Home Depot have both failed me here.

i don't have a sifu (yet) but sears should have what you are looking for. they have t6-t9 individually and a fold up type set with t10, t15, t20, t25, t30 and a few more. the salesman may not have known that it existed.

Try Radio Shack, too. I got a set there.

It is smaller than a size 10. I haven't been able to find a smaller size.

Torx?!?!?

Do you all have the limited-run BFC Sifus?

I have a production version, and it only requires an allen wrench!

What? I have a production version and it looked like a Torx head to me. I'll try an allen wrench tonight and get back. I guess I've been looking at Spydies for too long! Thanks.

if it is torx, the t-6 through t-9 i mentioned before are at sears. i went to exchange mine yesterday and they were out. everyone uses them for their cell phones. they're not with the rest of the allen wrenches and torx wrenches, so you might have to ask.

i don't work at sears or anything, i'm just trying to be overly helpful.

I have 2 sifu`s and they both use all allen screws. It looks like it takes the same allen wrench for the pivot, the clip, and the scaled. Wish more makers would do that.

Y'all are right, it is an allen wrench. Adjustment happily made. I've ,definitely been hanging out too long with Spyderco's and forgotten what others do.
