Where can I find torx bits small enough to work on my spiderco and other folders that won't cost an arm an a leg, but can still get the job done without buggering up the fasteners.

Wiha are great tools once you get a set you will want the others, but a word of advice if and when you decide to get a hex set get the regular ones not the ball end!

Wera and Wiha are top brands.

I got their torx screwdrivers and L-key wrenchs from KC Tools online.

Ball on the long end of an L wrench is fine (and more convenient) for running screws in and out with little resistance, just don't use that end for the initial breaking loose, or final tightening.

I have that Lowes set and a unplated set from Home Depot. The Home Depot is better you can see the flaws in the bits in the Lowes set in the picture you posted.

Spend the money on Wiha. Buy once, cry once. Stripped screws on a knife are a nightmare.

I have the Husky set from Home Depot and it seems to work well. I have to remove every pocket clip and put it on the left hand carry side.
