Torx clip screws

My Captain just arrived, and it has torx clip screws. ARGH!

So I'm stuck tip-down until I can go shopping. :(

On the good news, it is 4-way carry, and it has jewel-like workmanship. I would have to guess Moki. Seeing the design I would have automatically assumed Golden and S30V, but this is Seki VG-10.

VG-10 and 4 way clip? Excellent:thumbup: Maybe this will be the knife that gets me to like liner locks. Mine should be here next week or the week after.
 
My CC model is shipped direct from Spyderco. Give dealers a few more days. You might want to call a certain dealer who is known to have several CC numbers... ;)
 
Sears has some ok torx drivers now for like $2.99 each here at ours.

I feel your pain Carlos, when my first Stretch arrived I think Sal's ears must have been burning. Cussed him mightily as I drove from store to store to store to store looking for a Torx driver with a d@mn3d #6 bit. Would have much preferred to pay a few cents more and have one of the little "Allen key" style drivers CRKT packed with my considerably less expensive Van Hoy Snap Lock.

If there is a Home Depot within driving distance, their little Husky HD-74502-T set is an excellent value for about six bucks.

Am I the only one who envisioned the Captain as much larger than it is? Think the blade shape (and perhaps the name coupled with it) had me expecting something the size of the knife in "The Hunted". :D
 
You got your Captain already!....well at least I got that one single Kopa before you and Deacon.

Being stuck tip down isn't so bad.

Congrats, can't wait to get mine.

Carlos has beaten me so often I stopped counting ZH. :o I think "perhaps" I got 1 before him, or perhaps was just faster with my camera and keyboard. :D

So any thoughts on the knife since you are the only one who has it in hand Carlos?
