Have any of you ever had a problem finding torx head screwdrivers to work on your knives? For some reason they seem very elusive around here. All my local hardware stores have them but only sizes T-10 and up! As most of you know, most pocket knives use sizes T-8 and under.

Next I check my auto parts store and same thing, too big of size and only offered in socket form. I finally track down a Snap-On truck and they have the right sizes but there is only one problem: $75 bucks for a set of four!! No thanks!

Well I'm glad to say I found the perfect solution in Kershaw! They offer a small tool called (appropriately) the TorxTool and comes with T-6 and T-8 heads as well as Phillip bits! And best of all you can find this tool for under 10 bucks!! Thanks Kershaw!

I've had one of these for some time, great little tool.

Something I've wondered about with the Kershaw tool, however ... I've been using a #9 Torx on my Kershaw pivot screws, and it fits perfectly. Maybe the screws really are #8, but I would think the fit would be a little sloppy and more prone to marring the screw head.

I saw the Husky set and snapped it up. I previously had been using a security Torx bit set from an auto parts store - but of course, it was just bits.

The Husky works just fine at a great price. Get two for those jobs you have to grab from both sides.

I bought a set at radio shack. Its their precision screwdriver set or something. It was 10-15 but has a load of torx as well as some other weird bits that I dont see myself using any time soon.

I got mine at Lowes, nice little tool with interchangeable bits that store in the handle. I think it cost six bucks.

I have the Home Depot one as well, works great. If you want something fancier, Sears has a great assortment you can buy individual ones you want and not have to spring for a full set.
