I ordered a STR clip to replace my factory clip. I know it's a torx screw, but can anyone tell me what the exact size is so I can buy one? I don't know if this matters, but it's for a D2 paramilitary. Thanks.

I know of a couple of companies that make and sell knife take down tools in case you can't find the bit at your local hard ware store. Right off the top of my mind the kershaw tool is probably the cheapest, most compact, and has 3 bits. Phillips, T8, and T6. Benchmade also makes a knife take down kit but I have had no experience with it.

Since you're in the USA, another decent quality, inexpensive, Torx Driver is the small one sold by Home Depot as the Husky HD-74502 T and by Lowes under their Kobalt brand. IIRC, mine cost me $6 at Home Depot about 5 years ago. You get a handle and 4 double ended Torx bits, sizes from T-4 to T-10, plus T-15. Home Depot keeps them in their "Tool Crib" area. Lowes' have been on racks near the checkouts whenever I've seen them.

It's easy to grin when your ship comes in and good fortune and fame are your lot, but the man worthwhile is the man who can smile with his shorts twsited up in a knot. - Morey Amsterdam

Thanks a lot everyone! I ended up going to Lowes and got the Kobalt one as Deacon recommended. It worked great!

Indeed on the Husky set. I have it. The bits fit as good as the expensive sets ;)
