Torx screws and warranty

I'm thinking of swapping out the phillips screws on my cqc8 for torx purely for personal preference. Would this void the warranty if I had to send it in with the torx screws installed? Thanx.

If you damage the liner from over tightening those screws then yes, it'll void the warranty since those parts were not stock. Swap them if you like but the reason that we use standard Phillips and flat head is for easy field stripping and cleaning. Torx drivers and wrenches are not as common in field tool kits or multi tools.
