Torx screws?

I've got a problem with the torx screws on my UK Penknives. (Yep, I've got two of them ... :D )

Anyway, the screws are obviously supposed to be T8, however, my T8 bits are a bit loose. Not really a good fit at all. T9 is too big. I've been trying bit sets from different manufacturers, so it's obviously the screws that aren't quite the right size.

The trouble is the screw holding the blade of one of my knives was a bit loose when I got it from Heinnie Haynes, resulting in some bladeplay, and after very carefully tightening it the screw heads already show some signs of wear.

Anyone here who has got the same problem?

H C, just checked mine and the screws look ok from a wear standpoint, but they do have bad machining groves from when they were turned. (don't notice if you don't look closely). T-9 from Husky's kit (Home Depot) fits perfectly. *one thing I noticed with this knife, all the pins interchange with each other. In theroy, you could swap a worn pivot pin with another one from the handle. *just a theroy.
Hope this helps somehow, Walter

*I've taken this knife completely apart twice.

This is a known problem.
I just contacted Spyderco service who sent me a correct set of #8 Torx.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also contacted Spyderco service, and a set of screws is on the way.

Just a quick note: I got a couple of sets of torx screws for my two UK Penknives today, little more than a weeks after I had emailed customer support.

This is truly amazing. I'd heard before how good the Spyderco service is, but this is is even better than I thought. Great stuff, and after this experience I'll trust the people at Spyderco even more than before. :) :) :)
