Just wondering if anyone know what size the torx are on a BM 47? I have what I thought was every torx in the world but neither the T10 ot T5 works. And after years of working arounf machine shops I refuse to screw it up and have to resort to an easy out. Thanks again guys for the help. One day here and I am already a PITA. Well if anyone have any Mauy Thai questions feel free to ask.....

Latch is T6. Pivot is T8. You will also need a 1/16" pin punch to knock out the pivot pins.

Thanks. Well atleast they are not proprietary. I just wanted to tighten some play out, but I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks for the specs

Some of the early ones had T10 on the pivots and T8 on the latch. I don't know why they changed.

Nice bit of trivia info. Even on the 47 Prototypes in my possession, the screws are T6 and T8. Did they change this before the introduction of the 43 and 47's or after?

My early 42 has T9 pivot screws and a T6 latch. Has anyone else seen this? It seems like the torx screws became standardized sometime before the release of the 43/47.

T9's too. Well, there you go.

I don't know the exact date of the "standardization," but it was before the 43 and 47, yes.

Somewhere in a bank vault I've got the first 42 sold. I'll have to dig that thing out and see what it's got.

I've got an early 42 with T9 Pivot-Pins too? The "Forum Assignment" is for Chuck to ask Rick next time he sees him.., and to report back :)

Thanks Chuck.., my guess is that Rick is stopping by soon...
