Well, the title says it all. Any opinions, comments or warnings?

Bty, I'm more of a Khukri nut, with a propensity for chopping. But I have been known to stray into the realm of slicey/dicey thingies!

The HR was my first Busse. It's an excellent all around blade. You won't be disappointed. It will take a good beating and laugh at you when you ask if it wants more:thumbup:

Beautiful knife that you will learn to love quickly. A good example of a Busse in their mid-range size. Great camp knife. "just do it"

You won't regret. It's a great knife. I got a Mud Razor a few days ago and this one is a better chopper then I thought it would be. See my pics in the Nothing but pics thread.

I owned a HR. It's a very nice camping blade. And take one with the magnum scales. Those are awesome:thumbup:

Great knife. My favorite busse and its more sheeple freindly than an FBM/FSH.

Don't know what you mean when you say sheeple then. Both my HR and HOGFSH scare the kind of sheeple I know so much there's no point in figuring out which one scares them the most :D

Edit: tjchung, the Hell Razor is awesome! It was my second Busse and is now my main camping/hiking knife :)

You can wear a long shirt and no one will know you are wearing the knife. However, if you strap the RatDaddy on your side it hangs down to your knees (keep your mind out of the gutter, stay focused, O.K. you still with me) the people wont walk within 15 yards of you. Not really a bad thing, I am just afraid some park ranger will try and confiscate the knife because its big and scary:eek:

I'm with Ikarus. People I know were more weirded out by the HR than my BM-E. The BM-E is so plain looking they're just like "Cool knife". When they saw the bevels and what not on the HR I was asked a few times who I was planning to kill with it...LOL

Hehe, yeah the HR is a little "evil" looking :D

I have to say that I regret the HR.

I regret not buying one when they were at the company store that is. ;) Great looking knife. And it comes highly recommended. Have fun and post pics. :)

tjchung,

If I didn't already have a Hell Razor I would buy that one. It even comes with a spec ops sheath, so that's a great deal!

Mine is gray as well, only with snakeskin handles instead of green linen. Both of those combinations look awesome :)

That one in the exchange comes with a $40-50 sheath....so really the HR is about 325-335 and you don't find them that cheap anymore!

You might want to jump on it as another HR just showed up for more money...so anyone who was interested will probably buy the cheaper on with the sheath!

HR is a great blade!
For me this knife is a GREAT do all blade! No too heavy to carry on long trips (it's thickness is 3/16" - although mine HR seems to be almost as thick as my HD:eek:), but heavy enough for medium chopping. It also has great tip (a swedge!) with good ability to penetrate. You're gonna love this knife!
