Hi there,

About a year ago a friend of mine bought a kind of machette by a Venezuelan manufacturer. It was sent from Venezuela to The Netherlands and came in a box with a printed booklet / catalogue. In the catalogue were all kinds of models of knives and machetes. Both with wooden and plastic handles. I remember this as a local manufacturer of serially produced knives and machetes. Qualitywise the knives were good value for money (quite cheap).

The producer / makers name has eluded me ever since and I can't find anything usefull on the internet. I seem to remember that the logo was an animal, and recall thinking that the choice of animal was odd. It may have been a condor.

Does anyone have a clue who the manufacturer might be?

Thanks for helping me out,

Sam

edit:

Could it haven been Condor Knives?

Are you sure it was Venezuela? It does sound as though you're describing Condor, but they're El Salvadoran.

Tramontina from Brazil, by any chance?
