Yesterday, I was saddened by the news of a fellow forumite. Today, I remain concerned but am uplifted by the responses of many. We have reached out beyond ourselves to someone in need, in pain. In so doing, we have reaffirmed that despite out separateness we need not be alone. Our lives are worth living because of our connections with each other. Yes. There is bad in the world but there is much good and beauty.

I have a deep sense of gratitude for the existence of many of you.
