Touching Gifts from Paul Hiborn

Paul, I want to thank you for such a touching letter and covey of old knives! Paul contacted me and said he had something for me and needed my addy. I am so busy with life, was hesitant,and told Paul as much but he persuaded me with his essence, which we all know so well. Pure and sincere kindness.

Well, the box arrived today. It was so heavy, I did not know what to think. Upon opening, I found a very touching hand written note and four old lovely gems and of course a silver nickel from Paul's youth.

Paul, you humble me with your kindness! I thank you from my heart, my friend.

All the knives will be treasured and the Opinel in already in my pocket!

Gevo, my friend- I agree with all that has been said, however, I fear that this is just an act of sympathy from Paul, as I too had noticed that you had recently changed your collecting habits. I too had thought maybe someone should send you a new supply of old knives to replace all of those old Cicadas you have been collecting!

I am glad somebody did such a nice thing, so I could keep all my old knives.
