Tough Flashlight Question for the Junkies

I own more flashlights than anyone really truly needs, as do I own knives, thus me being here. I am in the search for a very specific light and I am at my wits end, so maybe someone out there knows of such a light and can help me. Here is where I am at. The lights that I have tried are as follows: NovaTac EDC120; love the light, but way too fat for my pocket. Olight I1 eos; Love the light but way too fat for my pocket and do not like the twist to light switch. Photon Pro; Love this little light but clip keeps getting too loose and the switch keeps turning to a very gummy rubber and now needs to be sent in for service. 4Sevens Preon2; Absolutely thought I had found "THE" light until this thing kept turning on in my pocket and frying my leg. So I then tried the 4Sevens Quark Mini AA2; Love the light, but too long and do not like having to rotate head to switch on and between modes. Favorite clip of the bunch by far!!
So, is there a light that carry's like a Preon2 or Quark Mini AA2, is switch activated with maybe high and low modes (don't need strobe and such), No CR123, AA or AAA with good brightness, and will not turn on in your pocket? I know you can back off the threads a little to keep the switch from accidentally clicking on, but then I might as well stay with a twist head and I do not want that.
I liked the looks of the Fenix E11, but NO CLIP. WHAT??? Does the light I seek exist? Simple, bright, slim, switch? Please help. Oh, and I really want to stay around $50 or less.

Forgot to add that I had a Fenix LD10 and the internals of the head broke free when switching between High and Low modes, so I would also like to avoid any head twisting.

The HDS is very similar to my novatac. Great light but CR123 is out for me for pocket carry.

hey Bolt
Got some great suggestions up there.
My EDC for the past 2 years has been a Nitecore Smart PD D10. It has been a great companion for me and I can't say enough good things about it. The infinite variable brightness is great and it has a nice top end. It sits really nice in my pocket. This is the AA version. Built like a tank but very slim and disappears in my pocket.

Good luck with your search

4Sevens Quark Tactical (available in AA or AA2) is a tailcap switch.

If you are looking for something similar to the preon 2, then you may consider the streamlight stylus pro. It has a tail switch that is more stiff and unlikely to turn on in your pocket. I own both lights and like the feel of the body on the stylus pro better than the preon. The stylus pro is significantly cheaper as well. The down side is the lack of multiple modes if that is important to you, and slightly less output.

I have a stylus pro on order. I will check out the Nitecore, looks like it might fit the bill. Boy am I going to have to sell some stuff off to keep up this hobby of knives and lights. Guns are in the blood too, but those are much tougher to find the money for. Thanks for the help so far.
